Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras - the old holiday, known in all European countries. Its purpose - Banish the winter, to encourage faster come spring. The festival is celebrated at 7 weeks (46 days) before Easter. This period is from February 5 to March 6th. Lithuania Mardi Gras is traditionally celebrated in towns and villages.
Masks - one of the key attributes Gras celebration. Most importantly, the garment would not be Mardi Gras every day, it must be something distinctive, unusual.

The masks are made mostly from bark, or any other sheepskin coat, animal skulls, then, of paper, cardboard and other materials.
